Property Tax

We have extensive experience advising clients with respect to California real and personal property taxation, and have handled a variety of matters involving Prop 13 and 58, including non pro-rata distributions, parent-child and grandparent-grandchild transfers, and Prop 8 decline in values. We are prepared to represent clients in such matters before the California State Board of Equalization, local assessment boards and courts. Attorney Justin Lowenthal serves on the Yolo County Assessment Appeals Board and has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of property tax and reassessment exclusions.
